Psychosocial support and counselling for LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers, refugees and migrants
You are queer, trans, inter, bi, lesbian, gay, asexual, aromantic and/or you have questions about your sexual orientation and/or gender identity and:

You want support in the asylum process?

You have just arrived in Germany and are looking for support to understand and discover the queer community?

You want to talk openly with someone about Germany, discrimination, your sexual orientation and/or your gender identity, about relationships, sexuality and love?

You are not feeling well because you have had a lot of stressful experiences?
Then come to our open consultation hours or contact us for an appointment! Together we will think about ways in which we can support you! We work with interpreters and we cover the travel costs to our services.
Date: Every Tuesday of the month, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Location: PLUS, Max-Joseph-Straße 1, 68167 Mannheim, on the 4th floor

If you can't come to the open consultation hours or urgently need an appointment, please fill out the registration form as best you can and send it by mail to our counselling center. The more the form is filled out, the easier it will be for us to understand your situation. In case of referrals from other organisations, please always fill out the German form.

What we offer
We offer psychosocial support and counselling for LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers, refugees and migrants.
Our main focuses are:

Support during the asylum procedure and the arrival process

Support for queer refugees with signs of psychological distress or symptoms of post-traumatic stress

Support for intersectional experiences of discrimination

Personal counselling with queer-sensitive interpreters

Linking advice seekers to volunteers and community offers
